Am 12.12.1903 – vor genau 111 Jahren – wurde mein Großvater geboren: Theodor Franz Maria Hespers. Für mich ist mein Großvater ein Mythos. Eine Heldenfigur. Und jemand, der mein Leben bis heute beeinflusst. Er starb am 09.09.1943 in Berlin Plötzensee – ermordet von den Nazis.

Radioaisle is the solo project of Cologne based multi-instrumentalist Ilias Ntais. Radioaisle takes 4track home-recording onto the stage. Cinematic song-structures are created with a set of loopers and alternatively tuned guitars. Haiku like poetry is sung over sparse beats mixed with mellotron, melodica and kalimba sounds.

The Cast is a genre-busting opera band pushing the boundaries of the classical music experience. A group of 6 professional opera singers from across the world, they bring the excitement and performance style of pop music to opera for the first time.
