Whether you missed the party or want to relive the blissful sounds recorded within our four walls, each month we'll be dropping volumes of mixes showing off a range of genres, crews and artists across the musical scale that's been spun at our club loud and proud.

Live From The Cause

As night falls, the Moonlight Sessions kick in and the hi-fi system shines as the team invite some of the best DJs around to stretch their legs and take us through the far corners of their musical palette, morphing into more of a party into the early hours. The music policy will keep things esoteric, interesting and a little lighter than the club they’re famed for, but still fun and danceable.

The perfect b2b pair does exist. Charles Green and NIKS' flawless track selections, heard at our Free Party last July, naturally blends into one another to create a seamless 4-hour concoction of ravey excellence from start to end.

A luminary of Detroit's electronic music scene, the balaclava-bearing master brought his trademark sounds to the Warehouse at our Halloween party last October for 3 fist-thumping hours. Running between electro and techno, DJ Stingray 313 delivered a killer set, with his dynamic performances and futuristic productions proving why he's seen as a legend around the globe.

After the launch of our Moonlight Sessions mix series a few weeks back, we're back with #002 from none other than Charlie Bones. 

As a vital figure in the underground scene and the brains behind the Do!! You!!! radio and label, we invited Charlie down 3 weeks ago to which he brought his usual mixed bag of tasteful selections to the liveliest crowd we've seen so far in our humble Dalston hotspot!

The next Moonlight Sessions is up and this time we roll it back to a tasty sonic throw-down from Meg Paine and Sarahtonin’s b2b set.

Recorded back in early November, the Do!!You!!! Radio regular Sarahtonin brought her uplifting energy alongside All My Friends very own Meg Paine. The duo filled our Dalston hot spot with balearic deep digs and everyone’s favourite buzzword… chuggers :)

Moonlight Sessions 005 — Sarahtonin & Meg Paine

Good Block provides the sonic sounds this time round as they come in big for number #007 of our Moonlight Sessions mix series. Recorded back in November, producers, visual artists, DIY record label and DJ duo Good Block brought their expansive selections to The Marquee Moon. The pair have been busy preparing new music (TBA soon) and set to be released on their own imprint, but for now, listen back to over 5 hours of free-flowing music from the depths of their record bags constantly manoeuvring towards the dancefloor.

Hannah Holland is no stranger to The Cause, having graced every dance floor, in every iteration of our club, since it's inception way back in the Ashley Road days. A cornerstone of the London club scene, going way back, with her party and label Batty Bass and as Adonis resident, there isn't a stone on the aural spectrum left unturned. 

On this particular night, Halloween at The Cause, as part of the Klasse Wrecks x Super Rhythm Trax takeover, we were taken on a hi-octane ride of bleeps, bass and rave slammers. It might be cold outside, but ditch the jumped when listening to this one, it'll make you sweat!

Hiroko Yamamura has hit up The Cause dance floor before with her moon-stomper sets, and each time she returns, she raises the bar even higher. A true master of her craft, the meme queen by day and selector by night has delivered unforgettable moments in our booth, and it won’t be long until she’s back for her third set at A Very Very Good Friday this Easter. Listening back to her last outing with us, on this particular night — The Cause’s 6th Birthday — the energy was through the roof. A packed-out Hot House relentless bass, and an atmosphere that didn’t let up for a second.

A true wizard of the decks, Mr. Ho has been serving up razor-sharp selections and mind-bending blends for years, running the unstoppable Klasse Wrecks label alongside Luca Lozano. When he stepped into The Cause for the Klasse Wrecks x Super Rhythm Trax takeover last Halloween, he didn’t just bring the heat — he raised the inferno.

It was sweaty, it was heavy, and it was straight-up mayhem. Mr. Ho, delivered a set packed with slammers that had the room buzzing start to finish. the ghosts in the smoke machine weren’t the only ones losing their heads. If you were there, you already know. The walls of The Greyhound are still buzzing from Infiniti’s last session. Hours of straight-up groove, rolling from shimmering disco to G-funked-out rhythms, stitched together with pure class. So smooth, even Nate Dogg would’ve raised a glass. Missed it? Gutted. Don’t worry though, you can relive the magic now with this recording. Pub Step 002 — Infiniti

A force behind the decks and desk, Breaka has long been pushing the boundaries of UK club music, blending jungle, techno, and percussive madness into high-energy, bass-heavy workouts. Whether through his own productions or his mind-blowing DJ sets, he’s a certified dancefloor weapon and his last outing at The Cause was no exception. For Jay Carder’s Halloween curation in the Hot House last year, he brought the heat with a set so intense it could have summoned spirits. The bass was rattling the walls, the rhythms were so infectious it felt supernatural, and the energy in the room was off the charts.

Surusinghe at The Cause? You already know it was a moment. From the early Dock Road days of her shelling it at Keep Hush to going b2b with HAAi, she’s been lighting up our dance floors for a while. This time, on a warm night in July, she stepped up before Objekt for a set that was as expansive as it was energetic.

With 3 hours to play, she went deep. Jumping across genres, sneaking in a rare spin of her own track GO BACKSTAGE, and even testing out fresh Pearson Sound just as it was dropping. “With this set, it was not lost on me that the crowd there were there for Objekt which is such a sick feeling because they're known for having such experimental sets” she says. “So I really let myself be indulgent and just played whatever I wanted.” And trust us, the energy was high.

Surusinghe — Live From The Cause (ORIGINS PRESENTS — JULY '24)

As an integral part of The Cause family it was only right to have EYA’s very own Jos down for last year’s Birthday. The man behind All My Friends record shop and its community, always bringing the right energy, whether behind the counter or behind the decks. Watching him grow from strength to strength in his own lane has been something special, and his set at our 6th Birthday last year was a perfect reflection of that.

“During the set, I tried to build a raw and dynamic mix of emotions to represent the unique and diverse spirit of The Cause bday,” Jos says. “I felt comfortable pushing boundaries, surrounded by dancers and people I work and share moments with on a daily basis.” And that’s exactly what he did, blending deep, Italo-tinged cuts with rolling grooves, locking into that perfect balance of raw energy and hypnotic flow.

JOS — Live From The Cause (6TH BIRTHDAY — MAY '24)

Back in January when sunny days like these felt like a lifetime away, the only thing brightening up our days were perfectly curated soundtracks from our many guests. Then landed Elliot & Orny’s (aka FAFF) sweet Sunday back in late Jan, that steered the end of the weekend into all kinds of unexpected, wonderful directions.

Known for digging deep and keeping things delightfully unpredictable, this set sees them stretching out across the broader edges of their musical taste. From off-kilter jazz and dusty post-punk cuts to oddball grooves and esoteric gems you’d be hard-pressed to place.

When October nights started creeping in and daylight felt like a rumour, Boom Room have been coming through and lighting up their Thursday residency in proper style. Head honchos Josh Sparrow and Soft Touch alongside Close Ties took the controls on the first night with a journey of groove.

Recorded live from The Marquee Moon booth, this set captured the trio in effortless flow. Fluid, bouncy selections that felt both driving and soft at the same time. A proper reminder that Thursdays in Dalston hit different.
