He brings this perfect blend of pop/mainstream sensibility and indie but strikes a great balance with his really unique voice and styling which is something we care a lot about... When we started producing the song we gravitated towards the more progressive sound, flush with big synths but wanted to pair it with a sweeping horn over the drop to give it this really grand almost orchestra feeling that gave it a unique feeling, almost cinematic in nature.... which allowed us to cater to the high energy of house but maintain a unique undertone which we put a lot of importance on with our productions ”

I am pretty sure most of you can agree, Bastille is the tits, we have been fans of Bastille since we first ever heard their music about 1.5 years ago. In fact we loved them so much so, that we sent maybe 30 emails a month to their management, press, agents and fan pages begging to remix them... Of course no one got back to us... but there is a lesson to be learned here... Sometimes you gotta let something go, to let it come back to you ;) Actually fuck that saying, just work hard, do you and eventually the right ppl will recognize that, and in this case we were finally blessed with the opportunity to remix one of our favorite artists, and on top of that a song we really love...

There was something about Hayley's voice that stood out to us as soon as we heard the original. We knew that we wanted to get our hands on the track because there are not many vocals like this out there. Luckily for us we were able to get the approval to do a remix for her and this is what we came up with. This girl is something special so for us to work on this was awesome.

Finally!! We have teased this one a lot, and now are so excited to put it out. Once we heard Vance Joy's "Riptide" we were addicted to his voice so we went through his catalogue and came across "Wasted Time". The original is very much a folk song but there was something to the melody and lyrics that made us think we could do something special with it. We sped it up a bit, and then it all clicked. Note about the Song: We actually first heard the song via Monsieur Adi’s Remix and thought it was awesome but were curious to hear the original, so we checked it out and loved Say Lou Lou's original but thought there was still room for a really upbeat version with our progressive indie flare (we hate the word flare). What really appealed to us about Say Lou Lou was they have this renegade softness, its sorta punk but not, that makes no sense right, but there is sort of care-free beautiful nature to there voices and we thought we could make a summer anthem with this baby, or die trying (side note: at no point were we close to death in the making of this remix) So we got the stems, and wanted to create something that really screams 'let me in I want to fucking dance, but I also brought my own beer.'  So here is how we did it:
