"Currently putting the final touches on their 2nd EP, Sydney duo What So Not are teasing us with new sounds by uploaded a previously un-realised remix of Kimbra, A-Trak & Mark Foster’s collaborative track, ‘Warrior’.

Made up of Flume and Emoh Instead, What So Not are getting a lot of global hype via their remixes of Van She, Major Lazer and Parachute Youth.

Their ‘Warrior’ remix sits at around 110 bpms, blurring between trap, dubstep and moobahton sounds. The song heaves with bass, while still highlighting the infectious Kimbra and Foster topline patterns. Oh and the drop? Dope.  

Touring the country earlier this year as part of the National House Party tour alongside Deacon Rose, Beni, Flume (live) and myself, I can personally back their hype.

The Chaotic Good (TCG), formed in early 2010 by Jake Carpenter of Lexington, Ky, is rapidly becoming a household name in the
world of electronic music. Graduating valedictorian from his college class for his work with metal sculpture, Jake wasn’t always focused
on being a music producer. He found his love for electronic music while listening to the likes of Daft Punk and Danger as he worked on
multiple projects for the U.S. Department of Defense. With a musical background in drums and piano, Jake redirected his exceptional
talent himself how to create pulsating baselines, psychotic melodies, and breakbeat lops that fused together to become The Chaotic Good.

Now, rated as one of the top ten electronic/remix artists by Paste Magazine, TCG continues to release remixes and original electronic
music that top both Hype Machine and SoundCloud charts. TCG has won multiple remix competitions, the most prominent being the
Dim Mak Records/Heineken remix challenge in which his winning remix was released on Dim Mak Records.
After gaining national attention for his early remixes, TCG set out to release his first all original EP in the fall of 2010, titled Synesthetic.
It was this EP that really caught the attention of other producers and proved that TCG could also make killer original music. TCG released
his second original EP titled Alliance, which featured collaborations with producers from around the globe. Paste Magazine says TCG
“creates some of the thickest, juiciest synth music I’ve come across. It’s a real art to have music that’s heavy without abandoning melody
and straying into noise entirely, but Carpenter nails it in just about every song. He’s a promising up-and-comer in the electro scene.”
He has played with such acts as Le Castle Vania, Skrillex, The Twelves, Ladytron, D.I.M., Gabriel and Dresden, Krewella, Lucky Date,
Midnight Conspiracy, Amtrac, Figure, and Switch. Touring with an 8 foot tall, 600 pound robotic statue that he built himself, it’s obvious
to the audience when TCG is in the building. He’s been featured on the music sites Oh! My God It’s Techno Music, This Song Is Sick,
LessThan3, and many more.

As electronic dance music came to the forefront of popular music, it posed a time for The Chaotic Good to shine through. His official
remixes of Krewella, Midnight Conspiracy, and Ladytron in 2012 brought him further into the limelight among fellow producers by
allowing him to work on new productions along side powerhouse producers such as Le Castle Vania, Child in DIsguise, and Midnight
Conspiracy. The Chaotic Good has recently been in the studio churning out some brand new music for his upcoming EP titled Zeroes
and Ones. Keep an eye out for new music and other things to come in 2013.
