Andy Shimeld and Ian Dewhurst are The Cheeky Boys.

The boys first met DJing at a student venue in Leeds. On acquaintance they instantly struck a bond with both of their sets accommodating a fusion of Trance and Hard House, they found a common affiliation. Along with complimentary personalities and all the elements of an unseverable friendship, a working partnership was formed in the autumn of 2000.
Not long after forming,The Cheeky Boys career promptly propelled itself when they met the legendary Housewives promoter and DJ, AngelX. The Cheeky Boys were fast getting a name for themselves thanks to their unique bouncy style and after securing residencies at two of the biggest hard house nights, Housewives Choice and Parlez-Vous?, the boys didn't delay in embracing the scene with their offerings. Growing from strength to strength the boys were soon playing gigs over the country appearing along side the likes of Paul Glazby, Judge Jules, Charlotte Birch, Lisa Lashes, BK, Rachel Auburn and many more...

In 2002 The Cheeky Boys turned their hands to promoting a weekly Friday night called "Emphatic". Booking DJ's such as Ingo, Lee Haslam, Paul Maddox, Sam Townend, and Jon BW, the legendary night grew with strong bonds formed with respected DJ's..

After a short break from the Hard House scene, the boys were invited to play a return gig with Leeds based Killertrax in 2009. It didn't take long for The Cheeky Boys to re-establish themselves within the scene.
Now back with a "BANG" the boys are now playing a weekly Friday night internet radio show between 8 - 10pm on www.freemixdownloads.com.
The Cheeky Boys have also been hitting the studio hard to bring new tracks within their sets. Whilst working with producers such as Mr Mister and Audox the results have lead to an EP on Andy Whitby's AWsum label due for release in January 2010.

With the increase in production and new emerging talent within the scene, The Cheeky Boys have created their own record label "Cheeky Tracks" Aiming to produce fresh new tracks, the boys are excited at pushing new and different genres within Hard House scene. The Cheeky boys have also teamed up with Leeds legendary night "Rave On" where they host the Cheeky Tracks room serving the best in Bouncy Hard House..
