The Chives are a punk band from Portland Maine. The group is made up of guitarist/vocalist Nate Hanscom, bassist Gavin Sanborn, and drummer Gabe Chanis. Their musical influences come from everywhere, making it hard to nail down one genre for them, but they cite mainly pop punk and hardcore punk, alternative rock, thrash and sludge metal, and noise rock as their main influences.
