Born in Brooklyn, New York but raised in Brooklyn and Selma, Alabama. The Christopher Complex blends the best of those experiences into stories and sounds that he is passionate about. He writes rock fantasies about galactic goddesses of loving power, pens rap about redemption, and his personal battle to overcome anxiety and of course passion, beauty, and love.

Christopher calls himself Complex to not identify himself with one genre, style, or sound. He believes we are all complex and original like nature. He describes the core of his sound as funk to rock your soul. He prefers to inscribe it as Funk 2 Rock your Soul, which is his tagline. His goal is to create his own sound called ComplexUs.

The Christopher Complex released his first EP Let's Go in 2005. He supported the EP by performing a local tour throughout New York City for 4 years with his band Optimus Funk.

After taking time to enjoy family, grow, learn, and experience, The Christopher Complex reignites his musical space ship with new releases like ROCKXY GALACXY,  I CAN TURN IT AROUND, and VIOLET SUGAR.
