About the CD:
For our 23rd episode we once again asked a friend of the site for their favourite all time CD. Andy Buchan is editor of Dubai's leading music and events publication, the fortnightly Infusion magazine. He's written for Mix Mag, DJ mag and Q magazine so he know's a thing or two about music. He's also one of the Dubai's best DJ's. Running his award winning alternative night Loaded and the famous dubstep and bass night SYNF amongst others. Andy has warmed up for anyone and everyone from 2ManyDJ's, to Norman Jay, Beardyman to Chase and Status and held down residencies at pretty much every quality venue in Dubai.

He originally picked Francios K's Choice disc... but as we just had a Choice disc from our last guest (We Luv's Ian Blevins) he also recommended Francios K's superb Essential Mix (Disc One). Which is a storming journey of starting with house and quickly moving into funk, disco, soul and everything in between. With from James Brown, Level 42, Maurizio, George Benson, Chaka Khan, Kyoto Jazz Massive to name a few... it's easy to see why Francios K has formed such legendary status with many of the finest selectors out there. If you love this mix... you're amongst very good company. Salute!

About Gareth:
Digital creative type, gamer, music lover and occasional DJ. Currently living between Dubai & Seoul after setting sail from Sunderland in 2010.
