Matti Heininen and Erkka Lempiäinen have delivered plenty of magical Michael Cassette moments ever since they exploded onto the scene with the wonderful ‘Zeppelin’ and ‘David’ and this latest themed step on their musical journey is the perfect companion to the summer months.
‘Magenta Sunset’ represents an exciting change of tack and shift of focus for the boys; lifting out some of the distinctive 80s house hooks and delving deep into progressive terrains but keeping to the essential spirit of joyous vibes you can almost picture the kaleidoscopic streaks of colour in the sky as the sun hides away for the night as the track breezes along and unwinds gently on a cocktail of soft, transcendent melodies and blissful ambiances.
‘Wateresque’ sees the Cassette sound sailing purposefully further into unchartered waters, with its downtuned bass, metallic synths, percussive snaps and tumbling keys creating an edgier, moodier piece interspersed with a lingering, slow-burning melody as beautiful as any the duo have crafted previously, making this package an unmissable addition to the Anjunadeep collection.

We'd like to thank u all for downloading, duplicating and ripping the song off youtube, using mediafile and megaupload haha and thanks to all those who have told a friend about us or brought a ticket to one of our shows – you make this possible, so thank you. We have FINALLY, officially released the song with a couple of other remixes (from araabMUZIK, Ta-ku and Tommie Sunshine and Live City) on the EP.
