I wrote this whilst hypnopompic in bed one morning in April 2021 along with The Law. Went downstairs and played this then immediately recorded hence the simplicity. 

"Morning Star" has more than one meaning but it is also the name of a pub I recommend visiting when in Lincoln.

As with Judas his Lords friend

In the towers and underground
Black magic in the symbols

Blood soaked masonry behind

As the sun goes down on the Morning Star
The Magna Carta's just a relic
The Son of God a diesel car

The light that leads to darkness
The misguided love to misery
