As darkness tightened its grip on our world, a few defiant souls remained steadfast in their allegiance to light. Among them was Clarence Rise, stirred from slumber by an otherworldly apparition. Within this surreal vision, he received a cryptic directive: to weave together the frequencies of nature into an ethereal pillar to be planted deep within the earth's soil on the fateful night of the lunar eclipse. Whispered to him; this pillar would serve as a conduit for the universe's radiant essence, drawing forth its luminous dust to nourish our ailing planet. With determination etched upon his brow, Clarence embarked upon his sacred task. As he sculpted the pillar from the essence of light itself, he whispered a silent prayer, urging all who beheld it to absorb its divine energy, to feel the stirring of their souls, and to rise, like shimmering particles of light dust, into a realm of transcendent illumination.

Nico grew up in a small coastal town in Galicia in the late 80s. In 2008, he started to involve himself with deeper shades of electronic music and their profound sentimental atmospheres. His interest became an obsession, and within two years he began to play in clubs across the Spanish northwest.

According to the artist, he was influenced by a golden generation of local DJs who helped define and shape his sound in terms of dance music, along with a rounded love of legendary bands and artists from across the musical spectrum. His musical philosophy is that everyone has something to bring, so there is always something to learn.

In 2015, Nico moved to Barcelona, expanding his horizons both artistically and personally. He’s currently one of the residents of the renowned Nitsa Club, and together with the duo Binomi, is responsible for HIRU, a multi-venue party across the city designed as an ode to club culture.

Nico prefers not to pigeonhole himself into any particular style, but his sets are nothing short of hypnotic. When he plays, he looks for that peculiar sensory union with the dance floor that connects them without words, seeking to lead the night in the same direction together.

Adrianna, in addition to her musical pursuits, is a co-founder of the underground collective Goldway based in Hong Kong. She actively contributes to the collective by not only making appearances but also shaping the visual and musical direction of the brand.

Continuum: a coherent whole characterized as a collection, sequence, or progression of values or elements varying by minute degrees. 

When asked about music genres, labels, or styles we enjoy… we often see the lines blurred. Sound palettes merge forming new colours, depth, and texture. Is it psychedelic techno? Is it drone ambient? Is it dub or downtempo? We see it as a continuous flowing mixture of deep, introspective, mental, and mind-bending sounds. We see it as a CONTINUUM. 

After exploring the notes of our particular continuum through our monthly podcast Selene Series, we thought it was time to invite others to pilot the spaceship through The Continuum and for us to enjoy on the passenger’s seat.

The Continuum will not be a monthly podcast, but a spontaneous celebration of the music creators that we most admire and enjoy. No scheduled uploads, and no agenda… but a free-flowing drop of sound for you to enjoy. As we join the dots to try to map out The Continuum, some of these dots are tightly close, and some of them are few and apart, and that’s fine, so will be our journey. 

The visual component of The Continuum will be delivered by the wonderful Tony Fibla. Her paintings of free-flowing, merging, and colliding colours and textures perfectly match the spirit of The Continuum (see above ;)). Her images full of nuance and intention are the ideal co-pilot for our sonic captains. 

We hope you enjoy your trip through The Continuum. 

Sasa Delimar is the first artist to place the starting dot in The Continuum podcast series. A master in intricate sound design, his productions caught our attention early on and many have found their way into our Selene Series mixes. No wonder why he has released in some heavyweights of the deep techno scene like Aleja Sanchez’s Northallsen or Polygonia’s Qeone. 

But his selections as Infinity also deserve their flowers: Monument, Crescent London, Parallel Perception or Hypnus’ The Memoir have been enchanted by his wizardry. 

It is an honour to feature the Croatian producer and dj in our new podcast series with one of his rituals and to have him slipping the first stitch as we weave the sonic cloth of our Continuum.

Navigare Audio has the great pleasure of introducing Tsott from Tbilisi to the podcast. The Georgian producer has left his mark these past years in the hypnotic techno scene with quality releases on labels like Edit Select, Bahn Records and Indefinite Pitch as well as starting his own imprint Spira Records. 

We recently came in contact with him and got this straight to the point-set as a big bonus from our newly established musical relationship. The sun is shining and we're happy to share the 40th chapter of our series with you today.

A few days ago, we had the pleasure to witness the beautiful Aurora Borealis in our European spheres. A harbinger of the moonlit and starry summer nights that lie ahead. Nælida is our next “Dynamic Spheres” adept and will provide the perfect soundtrack for your upcoming nocturnal sessions.

Based in the vibrant city of Berlin, she found her musical home in Hypnotic Techno a few years ago. Since then, she has honed her craft to tell musical stories that can send the listener into uncharted territory while covering various aesthetics from organic and minimalist to experimental and leftfield.

Nælida proves her versatile skills with this mix that explores everything breaky. Broken beats are paired with warm basslines, intelligent rhythms with epic atmospheres, all topped off with spacey sounds that give the feeling of visiting an unexplored galaxy.
