We warmly welcome to the Colombian artist Zemög whom we had the pleasure of inviting to one of our showcases in 2022 at Under Club.  

‘Daxita’ is the first full length album composed by Zemög. Opening up his possibilities as a producer, implanting cinematographic, futuristic, psychedelic and ritualistic sounds with shades of depth and delicacy, this album brings together many of the sound aesthetics that the artist has had during his more than a decade of artistic career. ‘Daxita’ is influenced by mushroom trips and the use of psilocybin; and the 10 tracks tell a story in a specific order that mutates into other sonic dimensions while you listen, with an unexpected and carefully executed evolution. Sound design plays a big part here, whispering textures, captivating rhythms, and resonant, acidic synthesis. Both the name of the album and the names of the tracks are taken from a native Colombian language, faithfully representing the sonority of each passage. 'Ajenaya' introduces the album with a cinematic soundscape, deep pads and sibilant ascending arpeggios that immerse us in a spiral of emotions. After the ambient prologue, the first beats immediately enter with 'Kamajita' and its dreamy arpeggios, an astral journey that refers to the milky way, to the observation of the stars from the top of a mountain. The guide continues with the subtle reverberating bells of 'Kapajojoro' concentrating the groove on the set of toms and the wandering synthesizer. 'Jireta' takes us into a moment of dance, a ritualistic half-time track that connects with our interior and our body movements. 'Fuliawaito' charges us with balanced harmony, spotting a foggy sunrise between the mountains, whispering, acidic textures and minimalist bells are responsible for transporting us to the depths of the jungle. We immediately entered a state of hypnotic confusion with the second half-time track 'Babuna', which with aquatic percussions and modular sounds take us to an immersive state of complete mutation, shamanism is back. Daxita's ritual sweet spot is 'Fungus', tribal percussions and delicate synthetic playing underscore a sense of exoticism and savagery. Followed by 'Aitawa' a track mainly composed of modulated synths and a kick, but with enough acidity to awaken the senses. The epilogue of the album is summarized in the last 2 tracks: 'Matakapona' a melancholic track with acid bass lines and hopeful pads, and the closing with the methodical and changing arpeggios of 'Damuku' leaving a state of purification at the end of the ritual.

With a string of releases on prestigious labels such as The Gods Planet, Affin, Edit Select and Circular Limited - the London-based Acaera (formerly Basis Change) has become a reputable name in the realm of hypnotic techno. We are truly honoured to present this EP as our label’s first release, and we hope to return Acaera’s trust in us with the pressing of a beautifully packaged limited edition vinyl alongside the digital release. The vinyl includes two vinyl-only ambient tracks that book-end the release, with the first being the track from which the EP takes its name. Unfold begins a deeply personal journey, and immediately the listener is welcomed by a rich and atmospheric soundscape. This depth remains through the rolling enchantment of Apex and the off-kilter percussion and shifting grooves of Anaesthesia. Onto the B Side, Learned Behaviour is a track of slow revelation, pulling the listener mesmerically through its unfolding landscape. Forella will resonate with those who know Acaera’s signature sound, with broken rhythm work soaked in beautiful pads. Closing out the EP, Reorientation culminates on an uplifting note, leaving you contemplating feelings of warmth and hopefulness.

Nur was created through a creative exercise where the over 140 producers of Aedi were invited to create an ambient track in pairs of their choosing. The challenge aimed to encourage the community members to explore the value of contacting people online and creating something together.

All submissions were gathered in an anonymous playlist and voted on by everyone. The track with the most votes received a remix by Luigi Tozzi as a prize, and today, we're glad to share the results with you.

Following their 5th anniversary, the Berlin-based event series Art Bei Ton is kicking off its label with a first VA release ‘Approaching The Illusion’ featuring 7 tracks from Ambient to Hypnotic and Deep Techno.  

The goal is to promote diverse international artists involved with our community and curate a sound reflecting different sides of our scene.  

Opening the VA with a dark and ritualistic Ambient track composed by the Sardinian artist TVS, the journey follows a shamanic path by touching some euclidean rhythmics with the downtempo beat from our Art Bei Ton resident Mown.  

Approaching a hypnotic dimension with Laima Adelaide’s unique atmospheric production, the VA follows up with a psychedelic tune from the Leipzig-based artist Vanta.  

The collaboration between Feph and Mr. Tron offers another aspect of the hypnotic sound, with some more driving and uplifting vibes.  
Wrapping up this first release, the Berlin-based artist Andrea Cossu brings us to an unusually long and trippy journey through some mental whispering voices. The Indian producer Synister (IN) takes the listener into a dark and dystopian momentum through a powerful Deep Techno groove.
