Like so many artists, we discovered @hennaonna 's music for the first time on David Nichols' @closertotruth label — her gorgeous and sophisticated Midori no Basho EP, released just over a year ago. Based in Yerevan, Armenia, Henna has also released stand-out tracks on labels including Nite Grooves, Kindisch, Lisztomania and more.

Though impressed by her productions, we never heard her DJ. And then we heard her mix, and we were sold on it. Henna has a dope sound — that deep and warm deep house vibe that fits so well with our Sanctify mix series.

Ivan Lozano is Joint4Nine a dj producer, sound engineer, Nómada Records and Ritmo Terco Co founder from Bogotá (Colombia). He is also half part of Rush City which is his b-side project as producer alongside his label mate Jonahlo. In december 2017 he put out his frst official release as Joint4Nine with 7th Chords, Cigarettes & Rum” on Nómada Records and In 2019; since there He has been relesing music constanty on labels such as Ondulé Recordings, Broken District, Fate And Fiction Recordings, Sengiley Recordings, GLBDOM, Forbbiden cutz, Sundries, Apparel Music, Apparel Wax, Masterworks Deep Cutz, Morris Audio All Being Here, Berlin House Music, Inhale & Exhale, Back Door Records and Blur Records. He loves the old school and eclectic sound from 70’s, 80’s and 90’s, so you will find on his productions and dj sets a heavy influence y House, Deep House, Techno, Tribal, Disco, Pfunk, Jazz, Hip Hop, Acid House Broken Beats, Dance Punk, Afro and Highlife. 
In 2014, 2015 and 2017 He had the chance to tour around México by playing in different cities and important venues and clubs from there. He also has produced parties and shared decks with artists such as: Iñigo Vontier, Los Mekanikos, Andre

We’re into the last quarter of the '12 Grooves of Christmas' and we aren’t letting up. Following some great uplifting house and disco flavours over the last couple of days, its time to return to the deep as Grant Bethwaite brings us The Terrace Groove for Day 9

Based in Cumbria, UK, Grant has burst back onto the scene in the last few years after an on-off 15 years of spinning from a young age. After a little time away from the decks, Grant has brought his sound back of late and grown a solid following via his residencies at local bars in the North West’s, as well as the popular Electric Soup Nightclub which has seen him grace the decks alongside the likes of Darius Syrossian, Rossi, Ellie Cocks, Jess Bays and Ben Hemsley to name a few. He brings a rolling energy to his sets and always keeps a dancefloor moving. 2021 is looking like the year we see Grant expand his sound outside of home grounds and get his named stamped down on some gigs in and around the country

Although not shy to span sub-genres, its the minimal-deep tech sound that you will find most here. Thumping kicks, rolling basslines and atmospheric synths are the order of the day with the distinctive sounds of the likes of Chris Stussy, Toman and Silk & Fuss all present.
