Stepping up as our penultimate guest mix for the mixtapes of 2022, we have London based duo Collective Groove. 

The boys have been making movements on the scene over the last year or so with their renowned radio show 'That Disco Groove' which has seen them host a stellar roster since its inception.  The shows see's them pick the best new releases from the multiple sub-genres of disco and disco-house followed by an hour long exclusive guest-mix from some of the finest DJ's & Producers on the scene right now

More recently the boys have gone on to host a new show 'A Chance To Dance' where they take a look into the deeper side of their music tase. Seeing them and their guests explore intrinsic deep jazz, dusty house, filtered disco, soulful deep beats, classic house, 4/4 and so much more

Both sides of their musical influences are fully on display throughout this quality 1 hour mix!

Last year we ended our That Disco Groove with a few episodes of our favourite tracks of the year. Its fair to say that this year has also seen its fair share of incredible music and with over 20 shows released in 2022, you can find all of them in our That Disco Groove Playlist. together joined with an A* rated guest mix, so don't sleep on it!

This year we wanted to do something a little different. Much of what we do is playing and sharing new music, produced by the artists that we love. However, we have a deep rooted passion for classic house. Music that's very important as its responsible for so many great times and a heavy influence in the music that we play and share today.

Cue this 2 hour Soulful House New Year special. Its upbeat, uplifting and heavy on the soulful side of house. With elements of gospel to groove, its one to make you smile. We play tracks dating all the way back to '96 from undeniably the greatest names in the genre. Dennis Ferrer, Dj Spen, Louie Vega, Jasper Street Company, Michael Proctor, Blaze, David Morales, Kenny Bobien, Urban Blues Project, Ann Nesby, The Sunburst Band, Michael Watford, Jamie Lewis, The Muthafunkaz, Kerri Chandler, Grant Nelson. Without these names, music wouldn't be where it is today!

Eva was born in France and like so many others she is now stationed in Europe's electronic music capital Berlin. A DJ with an incredible ear for both house & disco music, Eva knows how to curate a varied set that will keep the groove alive. This is displayed in her selection for us in which she rotates the disco highs of Folamour & Hotmood through to the classic house sounds of Strictly Rhythm & Soul Heaven. Having also been part of Aterral and The Disco Express mix series and played at nights including Toy Tonics, it's fair round say she's in big demand and we're honoured to have her on board with us!
