The musical arm of Collective Groove consists of Charlie & Pete, good friends for just under a decade having been introduced by their third honorary member Bobby

Charlie found underground electronic music through the peak of UK garage back in his mid to late teens. His early club encounters were in venues such as Scala in the UK & Club Abyss in Ayia Napa. An undisputed era in UK music which was always about having the best time, he naturally found his way into the house (and occasionally disco) scene

Pete shares a very similar story although he can add D'n'B and Jungle as accolades of his youth. Throughout his earlier years he managed to haul an extensive collection of early house & garage records which still get dusted off and played to this day

Recently the pair have reunited their love for the 90s house scene. A time in which the US house vibes coming from places such as New York, Chicago and Detroit were birthing the garage scene they loved so much here in the UK. They list Jovonn, Ron Trent, Tony Humphries, Kerri Chandler, MAW, Blaze, 95 North, Chez Damier, Glenn Underground, Jazz N Groove & Mood II Swing amongst their most influential artists

"For our OSO:Den mix we wanted to do something almost exclusively from the music of the 90's. We've favoured the more driving NY sound but included are some absolute bumpin highs. Much of the music is from the pioneers of this time, a sound which in our opinion never tires. We love that Bear & the Oso:Den crew are keeping such an important era of music alive and hope that experienced music heads can enjoy the mix whilst hopefully blessing the younger ears with some exquisite records they may have never heard before"

In anticipation for the hottest weekend of the year, we dug out a load of tracks that epitomise what the Southport Weender means to us. Described as 'the friendliest party in the world' there really is nothing else like it. DJs on site for the whole weekend mingling with the crowd, artists respecting artists, live acts performing, incredible attention to sound design and the best people you could ever hope to be around!

'In rotation' features records from a handful of our favourite acts to play at the weekender throughout the years. From residents to headliners, it's an extended mix full of vibrant house records that audibly depict what Southport means to us!

3Kelves and Dylan Green are two artists who have popped up time and time again on the LV radar. San Franciso resident 3Kelves and Netherlands born, and now San Francisco domiciled Dylan Green have been making some wicked disco and house music. It's music with a real edge which definitely stands out in the endless sea of tracks landing every day. They have chalked up an enviable list of releases together already on stand out labels including True Romance and Kitsune so this is a duo who definitely mean business.

They have just launched a new label, C3DO, along with Indonesian group We Are Neurotic with the first track, Hyperservice, coming from them and it's a powerhouse of hi energy disco house with a real twist.

Midnight Riot is hitting the airwaves in style, now gracing the iconic Street Sounds Radio with their fresh weekly primetime show every Friday night, running from 11pm to 1am. 

Leading the charge is label head honcho Yam Who? alongside Midnight Riot's very own Jaegerossa. Joining them as regular guest stars are a stellar lineup including Young Pulse, Funky French League, Shaka Loves You, Adam Nova, DJ Emma, The Hush Club, Le Visiteur, Faz, Tony Wriston (Pikes Ibiza), and Conan The Selector.
