Nothing ever goes the way you planned it. People never agree to what you want. Everything takes longer than it is supposed to, and everyone underestimates everything. Some things are hard to sustain, but if the will is strong enough, people find a way. 

Candidates for Love has taken 4 years to make. There were times when it felt like it would never happen - and it’s only 9 songs long. 

A lot of things can happen in 4 years. You could start a family, move house, travel the world or get a new job. You could also get sick, lose the ones you love, abandon hope, and get it back when you least expect it. We have. You probably have too. Here is the soundtrack.

With a shared love of battered books and old films, The Comet Line is the sound of cars crashing in slow motion, of lives sliding imperceptibly out of sync, and of plans going horribly awry.
At its core The Comet Line is the sound of cars colliding and hearts breaking just out of the line of sight. It’s the sound of brilliant plans going to waste and innocent games gone tragically wrong; of night-sweats and deep, menacing dreams you can’t wake up from.
