Pockets Of Resistance

The Companies was formed in 2009, by Chayo along with 3 other guys from the Inland Empire area. Chayo started playing in Punk Bands with friends as a Bassist. With bands like The Dead Kennedy's, The Cure, The Smiths, Al Green and so many more as Major Influences in his life,he was tired of playing with bands that where out to follow the music trends. Chayo looked outside the box and placed an add Online that would capture the attention of musicians in the L.A. & I.E. area. Pierre, Virgil, Albert would take their music experience and background to create The Companies unique sound. 
They quickly worked on Original Material and started their way to building a following in the Local Music Scene. In September of 2009 the guys stepped into the Studio with Paul McKenna & Fernie Ayon to record what is now their Debut EP “Keep me in Mind”, released January 2010 it has sold well on all the Downloadable sites especially on iTunes where they have received great reviews on their first release. 
The Companies have now played all over Southern California in venues such as, On the Rox, The Owl, Stardust Lounge, The Continental Room, Back Alley Bar & Grill and have gone out to the Phoenix area to play at Club Red and Copperstate Tavern with much success. 
The Companies have just released their Debut Full Length Album "Keep Me In Mind" on "Rat Bastard Music".
