This album brings together the compositions everyone made during Create'N'score composing activity. Each piece began with a quick ten-minute writing session, where we took the Video Game genre and style assigned by a wheel and shaped it into a short paragraph outlining a game concept, its atmosphere, its world, its mood, and the mechanic that defines it.

From there, we moved straight into an hour of composing, drawing, or writing, each person developing that initial idea through their own creative approach. What came out of it is a set of works that span eerie, whimsical, chaotic, serene, and everything in between.

Every composition reflects how the prompt guided the artist’s choices and how their interpretation grew into something distinct. Together, these pieces form a shared collection of imagined worlds brought to life through different mediums and perspectives.

A Tropical Christmas is a collection of original compositions created over the course of one week, inviting composers to reimagine the holiday season through a sun soaked lens. Drawing inspiration from beaches, palm trees, ocean breezes, and warm festive nights. These works blend the familiar spirit of Christmas with vibrant tropical atmospheres, reflecting celebrations found in places like Australia, where December arrives with summer rather than snow. Across the album, traditional holiday elements are reshaped through island influenced rhythms, bright colours, and relaxed seasonal moods, capturing the joy and energy of Christmas without the winter chill.
