This was an impromptu performance one Sunday afternoon after a week of gigging the Western NC scene. The guys and I ran across this old abandon train depot and recorded this one as a one take using a Zoom H1 field recorder. I remember getting the placement right was tricky. I kinda works. Fun memory.

Goeff Pesche was my engineer and gave me a proper introduction to how the big boys do it. This song is kinda about nothing but is a "fun driving around the beach kinda song"

Your are hearing flat picking duel guitars playing an original bouncy bluegrass composition. My first thoughts were to compose a modern day: "MY GRANDFATHER'S CLOCK" - Henry C  Work.
As a child I was given a wind up Fisher Price type Music Box/clock that played Work's melody. I was captivated by the tune. It was only later that I realized that Doc Watson covered it and that the tune had words.
