On this episode we talk with Ish and Vince, the co-creators of Tamale Guy. The premise is around a “ legendary street vendor who escapes his violent past to begin a peaceful life with hopes of winning the heart of a local woman. However an ex-cartel serial killer with Aztec powers seeks his revenge.” Steeped in chicano culture, with some horror, their book has recently been fully funded in less than 2 days through Kickstarter. 
We talk about their stories, what actually makes for a good tamale, having someone that will keep pushing you. We also chat about the 1st annual Chicano Art Festival coming soon in Feb. in Vista, Ca.  They also share their creative tips and words of wisdom for our audience.
