Schools in the good ol’ USA having a drill today
Everyone is sitting down in class or hallway.
Lockdown drills make you sit in the dark 
Even damn fire drills make you wear a mask.
“Is this public education?” you may ask,
Every day, politicians make their mark. 

Quietly run away!
Run like hell everyday!
Quietly run away!

Earthquake drills, crawling under the table,
And tornado drills, stay low if you are able. 
Active school shooter drills in class,
Safety procedures in public education. 
With no gun controls, here is a frustration,
Growing up with guns and poison gas. 

As a Dutchboy I can’t understand, 
Solving a problem with a gun in your hand.
It’s not what they teach our kids at schools,
Safety procedures all along.
Active shooter school drills coming up strong,
But a shooter don't follow the rules.

Olivia Julianna said all drills activity
Had zero effect on her learning capability,
To participate in class and understand.
Her first drill was in fourth grade!
Fourth grade, pretty sure she was afraid, 
Active shooter drills by the age of 12, yes ma’am.

Teaching a child to live in fear,
Drills are disturbing is what I hear,
Everyone can walk around with a gun.
This causes casualties and lives every day,
Gun control has no chance this way,
With firearms available for anyone.
