Did I - a 7-minute journey that transforms a single acoustic guitar into orchestral chaos through pure DAW experimentation. A song about trust, betrayal and how many people in positions where trust is essential, simply don't deserve it. A song of many parts.

DAW Sorcery: One Guitar's Journey from Twang to Chaos  

For this song I have really pulled out all the stops in processing the sounds of my acoustic guitar. Have a listen, you'll find all kinds of unlikely sounds in here!

The method:
British artist Martin Scarratt records a single acoustic guitar through studio microphones, then reshapes it into screaming leads, subterranean bass, and dense textures using only DAW plugins - no electric instruments, no pedals, no amp simulations. The result? A cathartic fusion of acoustic intimacy and industrial-scale sound.
