BSV: Somewhere in Mirijevo in 2014 I stumbled upon a free download pack with your track “In Front Of Me”. Artist name was interesting at first, but I didn't know that the producer was from the same country as I am. I used that track in one of my early mixes. Are you impressed?
JELLY FOR THE BABIES: To be honest I used to hear this. When I started producing my main goal was to spread my sounds across the globe and electronic music in my country wasn't so popular like in some other countries... Probably that's why lot of them, who enjoy electronic music, from my country, didn't know I am from here.

BSV: If we compare your production from that period with the current, did you switch more to progressive house style?
JELLY FOR THE BABIES: Well yes. During the period, from my start, till now, my taste in music changed a lot and evolved from electro house more towards deep and progressive house music.

BSV: Are you jeally for the babies? You have kiddos?
JELLY FOR THE BABIES: Don't have kids yet, but will work on that.

BSV: You are the owner of several record labels. How do you manage to read those strong demo emails?
JELLY FOR THE BABIES: I work, a lot.

BSV: Hilly landscapes. Is that your inspiration?
JELLY FOR THE BABIES: And not only that... Long walks through the woods, mountains, hiking... Positive emotions.
 
BSV: So, only kick / drum samples in your production? What’s your fovorite synth vst?
JELLY FOR THE BABIES: Tone Gladiator I used the most, so let's pick that one.

BSV: Do you know how to play a “kolo” and whether you attended piano accordion or button accordion lessons?
JELLY FOR THE BABIES: I knew to play some cause I played harmonica in musical school when I was younger.

Leah Marie is an upcoming DJ from Melbourne, Australia, with an ever-growing passion for progressive house. Leah grew up playing classical piano and developed a taste for electronic music as a teenager. She had been on the other side of the dancefloor for many years and finally decided to give it a crack behind the decks in 2019...she hasn’t looked back since. Since then Leah has regularly played at some of Melbourne’s most well-known venues such as Killing Time, Glamorama, 24 Moons, Pawn & Co, My Aeon and Revolver Upstairs. She frequently showcases her love of progressive and melodic music for events labels -Mama Said, Capture Experience and Intimet Progressive House Community. Leah recently had the pleasure of playing the opening set for the Morning After Agency’s Enchanted Garden Afterparty featuring the incredible Guy J. Leah’s love of progressive house is largely inspired from her experiences at Rainbow Serpent Festival over the years. She has a particular love of prog that encompasses deep, driving, hypnotic, emotive and often tribal elements. Her two hour mix includes all of those very elements."

The entire mix has been tuned to 432hz to bring the music into a natural vibration and assist in easing any frustrations you may currently be having. Lately I have been so busy that taking the time to put this mix together and listen to all the incredible music that has been coming out has really brought me back to center. Me and the team joke about how we always think each Retrograde gets better every time - and maybe it’s because our musical tastes are constantly evolving. Honestly I do actually think this mix is my favorite that I have made. If you have the time to listen to it straight through on a long drive or something - I definitely recommend it. I made sure to follow my ideal key progression from start to finish.
