Armen Miran & Hraach (Aka The Prelude) - Untold Festival 2022

I was extremely happy to start my new year playing at Piknic Electronic in Melbourne and to be given the opportunity to warm up and set the stage for Khen and Sasha.

Was really pleased with the response to the set. Its a fine line between getting the party started and stepping on the toes of the acts to follow. I choose to move in and out of of energetic phases to get the dance floor moving but not as to tire themselves out. 

By the end of the set the vibe was great and the dancefloor was ready to explode for Khen, a job well done. As always thanks to everyone for the kind words and support.

Langsam schiebt er sich den Strohhut aus dem Gesicht und blinzelt der lachenden Sonne entgegen. Am Baum sitzend sinniert er über die einfachen Dinge. Der kurze Mittagsschlaf hat seine Sinne belebt. Das Plätschern des nahen Flusses hört er kristallklar und die spärlichen Wolken verfolgt er aufmerksam. Hinter jeden der weißen Riesen entdeckt er eine andere Phantasie. Dort wird eine Katze von einem Piraten gestreichelt und da erbeutet ein Eichhörnchen ein Eis als Nachtisch. Er verliert sich in den friedlichen Parallelwelten und lässt sich nochmal fallen. Mehr liegend als sitzend schließt er die Augen und malt mit seiner Vorstellungskraft farbenfrohe Kulissen für den Piraten, die Katze und das Eichhörnchen. Seine erfundenen Abenteuer zaubern ihn ein Lächeln ins Gesicht. 

Lasst euch von der Kreation unseres heutigen Gastes verzaubern und genießt die ersten Sonnenstrahlen. Der Labelchef von Steyoyoke steuert den passenden Mix dazu bei!

Born in 1975, he starts djing in 1995 in France. It’s in Geneva-Switzerland that his career has taken another turn. His jobs as owner of a vinyls shop during the 200’s, event organizer and artistic director of some night-club’s mades him know as nobody how to drive a party. Doing radio shows and djing all over Europe for more than 20 years (A Redbull Tour in Czech Republic still stay is best souvenir), he shared decks with some of famous Dj’s of the past and actual scene as Gene Farris, Onionz, Lil’Louis, Harry Romero, Djul’z, Craig Alexander, Dave Angel, Steeve Bicknell, Terry Francis and many more…
His sets explore all the trends of undergound electronic music with the sole aim of making people dance, dream and travel. His tracks are always mixed with great precision and he offers a selection as surprising as it is coherent. Ghetto house, dub house, melodic and progressive deep-tech, minimal house and techno are all the component of his music styles.
