From the depths of Burning Man to Black Rock City, to Coachella, China, Colombia, Vancouver, Peru, or spinning at the Latin Grammys, this Baja born DJ posses a luscious taste in music and a unique style in building deep, powerful and uforgettable sets that brings the audience together, to experience a musical journey that hypnotize and triggers different emotions while being capable of warping you into a musical state of pure bliss.

Massio has been pushing the envelope and uniting the underground pacific coast scene throughout his career since 2006, promoting major events in the region as a former co-producer of Genius Loci Fest and for the regional Venice After-Burn experience. Alongside with his talented team, he has an exclusive residencia in LA's most intimate venue for underground House music, Pattern Bar. During summertime, he delights the Venice Beach community with daytime coloruful events for all ages under his side project 5th & Rose.

As a producer, his music can be found in all major digital worldwide platforms under some of the hottest music labels out there such as Perfecto Records, Hoomidaas, Mirrors, Words Not Enough, Dialtone, KNZ amongst others.

This time the Mexican maestro brings the bliss for today's show. He goes above and beyond to weave the sound of a shimmering, spine-tingling sunset into one solid mix. After an exciting build-up featuring key EPs from it, DJ One Five now unveils his full and fantastic Detroit Gets Physical Vol. 1 compilation album.

DJ One Five grew up in the Motor City, exposed to real house and techno from a young age. A 2008 move to Atlanta, another house hotbed, led to a residency at DJ Pierre’s Wildpitch club and tour dates around the US. DJ One Five has since returned to Detroit and has joined the Afro Acid team with DJ Pierre and become a leader for the next generation with releases on the Jack Trax label and now Get Physical. On this excellent compilation, he draws together the tracks and artists that best represent the Detroit sound that is so revered around the world.

The man himself kicks off with the deep, dark house of 'Love on Dexter Ave' then builds through the silky, disco-tinged loops of Gino's 'Dam I Wrong,' frosty dub chords and jazz sax lines of Biz's 'Citylights' and hypnotising melodies of 'Carbon' by Laurent Chanal.

DJ One Five's own bumping 'Russell Woods' and deep Afro jam 'Play On Detroit' feature in the middle of the compilation next to a hi-tek soul remix from Motor City royalty Scan7 and epic deep techno reshape from Vince Watson. There are also blistering broken beats from GPU Panic and far-sighted soulful techno sounds from Biz before a Jon Dixon remix closes down with a brilliantly funk and jazz fuelled house vibe that brings real joy.

This is an authentic snapshot of the current Detroit house sound, compiled by someone who knows it best.

Night Vision return to Get Physical Music for the first time since 2019 with two versions of their fresh new house track 'Giants.' 

This Toronto pair formed almost a decade ago and since then have gone from local heroes to international talents. They have done it all, from running their own events to joining the lineups at the likes of CODA, BPM and SXM, via laying down their warm, atmospheric melodies and hypnotic, driving rhythms on a range of key labels. This new release confirms their place on the world stage once more. 

'Giants' (Vocal Mix) goes first and is a brilliantly supple, stripped-back groove. The rolling drums and rubbery bass are perfect for intimate dance floors, with edgy chords and nice big wooden hits adding detail. An empowering, impassioned female voice speaks out on feminist issues to bring an epic sense of character to this most dramatic and absorbing of tracks. 

'Giants' (Stripped Back Mix) rolls deeper but there is still real drama and tension in the tense chord stabs and skewed pads. The vocal features in small snippets, meaning it is the power of the groove that takes centre stage on this version. 

These are two well-crafted house tracks that leave an indelible mark.
