To be released on my upcoming album; sounding halfway between Milan and Moscow, this song deviated wildly from my original intention... nevertheless, it is inspired by the hauntingly-sweet sustain of a beautiful dulcimer: the Yangqin.

I now reprise my earlier style of dance music with this work, along with the lessons that I've learned from producing classically-tinged electronica over the past several years. This personal, musical evolution of mine has "converged" upon a style that is similar to New Age music; albeit, aside from Jarre, my familiarity with that genre is somewhat limited.

Blossoms In The Breeze Pt. II

A brusque song, inspired from among the unfortunate happenings of late.              *I have now increased the total length of the song by approximately 20 seconds. In addition, I have added melodic elements where they were needed.                                                                                                         
 It is now much more emotional near the ending sections, while the ending itself is now intentionally unresolved(to literally convey a deep sense of yearning).

I've decided to make this song the first - the frontispiece - of my upcoming album, Zenith And Nadir.                                                                                            
 My forays into neo-classical electronica appear to have paid off! I now return to my older style, which is now, perhaps, better than ever.

In Lux Tenebris, Pt. I, from Muse Voltaic

Utilising renaissance-era polyphonic chromaticism,  I attempt to  recreate the tonal form/counterpoint of which was used in the Choral Music of the 16th - 17th-centuries. I do so successfully until 0:33, after which I have to utilise a more "baroque-like" bridge; and beyond 0:46, there is a very marked transition into a more 'electronic' style, though unlike anything I've yet, until this point, conceived . It's a very short track, so you can tell that I have nearly gone beyond my capability. The creation of this work necessitated the usage of minute incremental shifts in the Tempo, otherwise, the rest at the beginning(0:05 - 0:06) would have sounded differently, for example.  The voices overlap and should prove to create a highly unique consonance.

Purpure

This opening track is stylistically closer to the late-nineteenth century - especially "March" music(in terms of timbre, chord structure and timing than the others on my upcoming album); it may be considered among the first, and the frontispiece, of my recent foray into the world of Classical music.

In my mind, these pieces—my sacrificial offerings—were good enough for their ears, and passed their exacting standards.
