Which date could be better to release a fundraiser set I’ve played for my Mexican Mayan Warrior fam than the week where we would normally stroll over the playa in Nevada. I can tell I miss it a lot and can’t wait to return next year properly. 
This set got recorded a month ago in NYC with the full art car at the Brooklyn Mirage. It was a hot and rainy summer night, with a pretty magical vibe and so spectacular with all the lasers & fire. We had a little blackout at the end caused by the heavy rain which soaked all of us and of course the equipment too but this made it even more special.

With 'Kult' we welcome The DARA to ICONYC Noir. She treats us with a brand-new track that oozes class and sophistication. 'Kult' features rich driving textures; as well as euphoric and moody deep house vibes to satisfy ambient, uplifting and feel-good needs, which are the keywords for this beautiful and extraordinary release.

The DARA opens proceedings with his smashing original mix. Her musical development is in full swing, interspersed subtle effective percussion, accompanied by profound floaty grooves and indie influences lead the way. Utilizing the hypnotizing groove, underpinned by a rumbling bass that gradually eases its way to the breakdown, before unleashing into a rising melodic hook intertwined with the infectious groove that fades in and out for maximum effect.

The first remix comes courtesy of Arnaud Cordova & Julian Rodriguez; which hits all the right chords from the word go. The duo’s deep entry merged the roomy glowing drive, filtered stabs and stunning groove which beautifully led into a drop full of tension and excitement, while the understated yet driving bassline powers the groove along. They manage to keep the energy up, allowing the driving melodic house feel to shine thru over the many layers and textures to create a beautiful soundscape to round off this classy underground crowd pleaser. Essential stuff from Arnaud & Julian.

For the second rework we welcome French producer Narik to ICONYC Noir for his debut. His unique act and emotional creations carry quite a large scope. They are not afraid to explore esoteric or introspective themes and the end result is always a compelling one. Such is the case with their remix of 'Kult', which carries many of his most loved production hallmarks. From a warm, meaty low end to atmospherics and an effects storyboard to get lost in, there is certainly a lot to like. The main break is perhaps the high point, with the mood shifting from emotive to ominous with effortless ease. It's something you rarely see and they pulled it off beautifully here.

The DARA’s ‘Kult’ shows that there're no boundaries, as this beautiful deep melodic release will leave you with many smile induced moments! Not to be missed.

This is a recording of tibetan singing bowls for the sacral chakra.  These types of singing bowls have been used since ancient times in meditations and healing work. They are traditionally made with 7 metals representing the 7 planets that the tibetan monks were aware of at the time. The bowls produce monaural beats and harmonic overtones that affect body and mind on a deep level.  The corresponding bowls were matched according to the Chakra system in Ayurvedic medicine. This also corresponds roughly with the western major scale.

My name is Dara. I am a DJ and music producer working in the genres of melodic techno, progressive house, indie dance, and ethnic music. And I want to tell you about my project The DARA

"Through my music I strive to express my passion for the mysteries of our planet Earth - to its mysteries, magical rituals and processes of eternal life. In my compositions, you will hear the sounds of nature, echoes of mysterious Asian-inspired melodies, Indian mantras, and African rhythms."

The DARA is a child of the Planet and the World.

I have always felt a love for freedom and travel. For 7 years now, I have been following my path, traveling around the world. I have visited 30 countries and in most of them I performed as a DJ. My brightest performances took place in Mexico, Spain, Greece, Indonesia, Thailand, India, Vietnam, Latvia, Poland, Georgia, Ukraine, and Russia.

In each new country, I get inspired and create amazing music filled with special moods, colors and vibes. And, of course, in every country, I performed as a DJ and created a magical mood on the dance floor.

The creation of the track "Kult" was a huge step for my creativity and career. I have always known that I am the light. I bring kindness and love to this world. However, we live in the world of duality, and realizing my nature as a wild wolf, my shadow, I was overwhelmed by a wave of inspiration and energy. I wrote the track in one breath. I wanted to convey the strength and power of that moment, and "Kult" was the result.

The track represents my dark side, I love it so much. We must accept and love in ourselves both our light and our shadow. When you listen to this track, you will feel this wild power.

SPEECH
In all the countries in which I lived, I performed as a DJ.
The most significant performances for me took place here:
"Atlas Weekend 2019" is one of the largest music festivals in Europe.
"Virtual Burning Man 2020 Multiverse" is my virtual debut.
“MorninGlory 2022” jungle party in Playa Del Carmen, Mexico.

I am an open person and, like many other people, have several talents. I reveal my talents through music, modeling, and charity. I unite people through love for beauty and music, through dancing, through kindness and compassion. Being open, communicating, helping, loving, and exchanging energies are the simplest and most important things we can do in our lives.

Every single one of my performances is my own show, my own performance. I create all images myself. This makes my performances unique and vibrant, and suitable for different events.
