Flamingoes at Eclipse feels like a cinematic ride through personal transformation, love gone wrong, and the often-absurd, melancholy beauty of being alive in a fragmented world. The locations — New York, Barcelona, America at large — aren't just backdrops but emotional terrains. There’s a narrator throughout who is wandering both geographically and psychologically. He is reflective, funny, yearning, or dreaming, but always searching for something lost or never attained.
