We decided to bring an ancient Greek myth about Argonauts in our time. This is the story of Orpheus in his quest for the Golden Fleece. He has to overcome a dark side of his nature and not stray from the path.

The Dark Wood начался с пары треков и ремиксов только для личных нужд, но со временем превратилсь в полноценную группу с релизами и собственным лайвом. 

Мы не так часто выступали, но играли на значимых и важных для нас ивентах, предпочитая качество количеству.

У каждого из нас накопились идеи, на которые нужно много времени и сил, поэтому The Dark Wood прекращает свое существование, для того, чтобы освободить место новому.

Мы благодарны всем слушателям, организаторам и диджеям, которые помогали и поддерживали нас. Спасибо ребята вам большое!

Ukrainian electronic duo The Dark Wood appeared in 2014 and for a short period of time received strong support from artists like Dixon, Tale of Us and others. In his unique sound they skillfully mix classic IDM 90's like The Orb, Aphex Twin, Boards of Canada and current music trends in the spirit of labels like Innervisions and Life and Death.

The debut release of The Dark Wood was released on the German Traum Schallplatten techno label, but the main work on the project today — a new video for the single is still unreleased track — 'Orpheus'. Video Concept — an attempt to move the ancient Greek legend of the Argonauts in the current days. The Dark Wood try tell their story among the mystical landscapes of Dnipro river islands.

'We work with voices in your head. Like spiders we create net of sounds. In our experimental laboratory in Ukraine we blend freedom & dignity with 909 wormholes & melancholic synths'.
