After seven years since this Dutch duo released their infamous “Attic edits EP”, Moiety & Manik are back. Voodoo Hoodoo is their brand new 3-track EP filled with psychedelic analog heat for dance-floors and tribal rituals. Each track tells its own story from voodoo scenes to deep water worlds. This EP won’t let itself be defined by genres, but the style can be described as percussion driven electronic music that will play with your imagination and take you on a trip.

We are happy to present you 3 remixes for our 6th release by Kraut, Hugh Mane and Mens Aperta.

Kraut, also known as Daniel Zuur, has been a staple in the Amsterdam club scene since 2009. He released on labels like Shika Shika, Wonderwheel Recordings, Metanoia, Cosmic Awakenings, Tropical Twista Records and The Other Eye. He has played at clubs/festivals like Sisyphos, Fusion Festival, Gardens of Babylon, Wildeburg, Marktkantine, Garbicz and Welcome to the Future

Hugh Mane has recently released an excellent remix for LOVE APE - ZEN REMIXED, which made us invite him back. We love his warm and groovy house style. He’s had releases on Harvey's Mercury Rising, Running Back, Adult Contemporary, Growing Bin, Ugly Music.

Mens Aperta (meaning Open Mind) is the techno alias for Moiety. The debut EP in 2019 was the first release on the label. Also new Mens Aperta releases are planned for this year.

The ICE LP was created by Maxim Wolzyn over a period of three years, mostly whilst touring throughout Germany by train as part of the Günther Lause duo. Spread over eight tracks, the LP poetically captures the complex networks of railways and tunnel systems that carry with them the thoughts and feelings of millions of people, aspiring to attain an overall impression of the collective consciousness of a society on the move. 

Inspired sonically by the soundscapes of urban spaces, rail stations and the pulsing motions of modern mass transportation, various field recordings are mixed with reverberating synthesizer patterns and percussive composition, creating a mixture of straight forward techno and dystopian ambiences. 

While being reminiscent of Berlin's dub techno tradition it also transcends the typical club context, moving into the realm of the intimate and personal.

Space music of an outstanding and extraordinary kind: just as you would expect when two mannequins leave their boutique in Karlsruhe/Germany in their mind’s eye to go and see places where they haven’t been before.

“Im Weltenraum”, how they call their new album, is Fred und Luna’s next step in their ever-changing series of “Elektrokraut/Krautelektro” music. A charming and fascinating voyage through an endless universe of phantasmagorial soundscapes, repetitive rhythms, catchy melodies and even a side trip to Acid House Land.

After their “Glück auf” on Optimo Music, where they started with a journey through motorik Krautland, followed by a trip to a both atmospheric and boppy soundgarden on their album “Im Klanggarten” (Bigamo), an intoxicating journey into deep blue areas on “Im Tiefenrausch” (Compost Records) and tribal dancefloor spots on “Im Tanzrausch” (Compost), “Fred und Luna” are now on the traces of spaces, unknown worlds and unknown time zones, accompanied by Patrick Pulsinger, both a mixmaster and a master of mastering.
