Music from The Dead Ponies is reminiscent of the post-punk era, with surreal lyrics that blend nightmares with real life horrors. This dark avant garde band features punk riffs and the bold voice of a classically trained singer, that transforms the music, creating a unique sound that's very different from classic punk rock.


"Whenever I try to describe our sound by comparing us to another band, someone invariably says something like, 'Not Really.' So then, I continue trying to name other bands, but to no avail, as I recieve the same reaction. The futility is laughable. Here I am, trying to think of a comparable sound, but I can't, because we sound like The Dead Ponies."
