Instant Party! & Nu.F.O. - Breathe (Original Mix) [ThisSongSlaps Premiere]

We began working on this remix a while ago and slowly chipped away at it until recently where it really became something we felt we should release.  It's not what you'd typically expect from us; it's a stripped down, piano-based remix of one of our favorite EDM tracks, "Thing Called Love" featuring Richard Bedford on vocals, by Above & Beyond.

We are proud to present our first release as The Decorous - a cover of Mac Miller's "Self Care". Its release on 9/7/2020 is meant as a tribute to Mac who unfortunately passed away 2 years ago to the day, 9/7/2018, at the young age of 26. Way way wayyy too soon. 

Mac Miller has always been incredibly talented but, for us, his later material felt like he was breaking some new ground. It was genuinely surprising in how soulful it is and "Self Care" in particular struck a chord in a deep way, both on an emotional level and an artistic one. This cover retains the core identity of the song, of course, but we had to put our own spin on it. So when we do finally release our first original song in the months ahead, you can expect similar vibes to what you find here.
