EP SHADOWS OF AMBROSIA by Jack Essek (Derya Records)

Charles Aznavour (en arménien : Շառլ Ազնավուր), né sous le nom de Shahnourh Varhinag Aznavourian (en arménien : Շահնուր Վաղինակ Ազնաւուրեան) le 22 mai 1924 à Paris et mort le 1er octobre 2018 à Mouriès (Bouches-du-Rhône), est un auteur-compositeur-interprète, acteur et écrivain franco-arménien.

Au cours de sa carrière musicale, commencée dans les années 1940, il a enregistré près de mille deux cents chansons1 interprétées en plusieurs langues : en français, anglais, italien, espagnol, allemand, arménien (Yes kou rimet'n tchim kidi), napolitain (Napule amica mia), russe et sur la fin de sa carrière en kabyle. Il a écrit ou coécrit plus de mille chansons, que ce soit pour lui-même ou d'autres artistes.

Il est l'un des chanteurs français les plus connus en dehors du monde francophone, décrit comme « la divinité de la pop française » par le critique musical américain Stephen Holden.

En parallèle de son parcours musical, Charles Aznavour mène une carrière d'acteur, apparaissant dans soixante-trois longs métrages ainsi que dans des téléfilms.

Sans renier sa culture française, il représente l'Arménie dans plusieurs instances diplomatiques internationales à partir de 1995a et obtient la nationalité arménienne en 2008.

Bernard Ouillon, known as Bernard Lavilliers, is a French singer-songwriter, born on October 7, 1946 in Saint-Étienne or Firminy depending on the source.

Active since 1965, Lavilliers is known for his unique blend of French song, rock, reggae, salsa and bossa nova. His musical career is marked by travels around the world, particularly in Latin America, which have influenced his style and lyrics.

Beyond his musical career, Lavilliers is also an actor and has been associated with various political and social movements throughout his life. In particular, he supported the workers in struggle, the Lorraine steelworkers and was involved against the Belo Monte dam in favor of the Amerindians.

Ce groupe haut-savoyard de musique néo-folk se définit comme « un groupe qui invente une musique narrative mêlant tradition et modernité et qui vous invite à la fête ou plutôt à la “rioule” ».

Il est né en 2016, à l’occasion d’une réunion de huit musiciens bénévoles lors des Grandes Médiévales d’Andilly.

Leur univers mêle chants anciens, réinterprétations, créations originales, percussions, vielle à roue, mandoline, flûtes, etc. 
Ce sont les « Compagnons du Monde »: Yoann Pesenti, Louise Anthoine, Lucile Anthoine, Didier Anthoine, Julie Bouchet, Adrien Hage, Zoran Mirodatos, Yann Pegaz, etc. 
En résumé : un groupe festif, enraciné dans la tradition médiévale/folk, mais ouvert au voyage, aux mélanges culturels et à la modernité.

Cette compagnie basée en région PACA (à Sainte‑Anastasie‑sur‑Issole, France) se consacre à la création, production et organisation de spectacles vivants, notamment d’arts de la rue. 
Elle existe depuis 1998. 
Son imaginaire est décrit comme « débordant et créatif », avec une énergie joyeuse, et ses productions incluent musique originale et univers visuels marqués. 
Elle se produit partout en France, en Europe, et a notamment emmené ses créatures fantastiques les « Tanarucks » à Macao en 2014, puis à Taiwan en 2020.

Since 2016, Danheim has released eight records on his own independent label. His style has been described by reviewers as 'Brian Eno doing the soundtrack for Game of Thrones' or 'inspired folk music, with dark undertones'. Lyrically, his music deals with such mythological tales as Hrungnir's fight with Thor, the story of Fimbul Winter and much more.

In his 2019 release Hringrás, Danheim recorded the last three minutes of a track using only parts of dead plants and animals, as well as some real human bones.

In 2019, Danheim also contributed music to the soundtrack of three episodes from the second half of the sixth season of the History Channel series Vikings. One of the actors from the show, Georgia Hirst, enjoyed Danheim's contributions to the score so much that she released a social media video praising his music.

As of January 2020, his YouTube channel receives an average of 90,000 new viewers each day. He has 247,000 subscribers and over 50 million video views in total.

In March 2020 Danheim released his third full-length album of 11 tracks, Skapanir.  He decided to release the album earlier than planned, to help entertain his fans under lock-down or in isolation due to the 2020 Coronavirus/COVID-19 Pandemic. Reviewers praised the album's 'visceral and hypnotic' composition, and noted the varied instrumentation that produced a 'multidimensional Viking soundbath'. Teemu Esko of Kaos Magazine called Skapanir 'versatile and touching, while rich and immersive'
