LEHNBERGs debut EP ’False Idols’, was heavily influenced by visiting South African native tribes to expand his rhythmic mind, ’Namah’ stems from different recordings, meetings and ideas of philosophy in and around various countries in Asia such as Vietnam, Malaysia and China which David toured during the summer of 2015.

The kaleidoscopic and percussive rhythms are still precent, but there are a different kind of instrumentation presented in a creative way. Harps, various string instruments and gongs gets smeared, cut up and given new life, often serving as a mesmerizing puzzling pulse, all with LEHNBERGs trademark harmonic sense behind the steering wheel. 

With a new focus and aim this release marks another step towards the unknown creativity of LEHNBERG, where he goes next is anybodies guess.

Namah

The Deer Tracks, is David Lehnberg &amp; Elin Lindfors from a small village in the Swedish countryside. Their critically acclaimed 2008 debut album, "Aurora", received stellar reviews from NME, The Guardian, Clash Magazine, The Fly and dozens more influential magazines and blogs across Europe.

The band then reached an even larger audience with a full song placement in the hit show Grey's Anatomy. Managed by Scott Cohen (The Orchard founder and manager of The Raveonettes and the Dum Dum Girls) and booked by superstar agency ITB.

The Deer Tracks have already toured the UK, Europe and Japan since the original release.
The band is now set to release their epic trilogy in near future.

"Appopafrika" is an ultra percussive broken beat track that shows off LEHNBERGs punk rock drummer roots and his passion for strange percussive instrumentation he fell in love with after vistiting South Africa to expand his very own rhythmic sense even further by spending days and nights with native Africans in the remote village of Bulungula by the South African coast.  It's a track with all kinds of alarming distortion that turns into a somewhat melodic line to relax in.

The Deer Tracks are back after three years of silence with the new album Undersvik. 
After the bands constantly touring of the world for several years, they ended up in a mental and spiritual dead end. The interruption of touring was vital and the band sought out an abandon school in the small village Undersvik, Sweden. Over a 10 days period, with outside world switched off, they just let the stillness and their own spirit color the lyrics and their sound. Undersvik is as much a result of the eternal insomnia of touring, as the tranquility and beauty of nature.

David Lehnberg & Elin Lindfors are the only two constant pieces in the always evolving puzzle of The Deer Tracks. These two versatile multi-instrumentalists and singers, handle everything from writing to recording to production. 

They are actively touring US, Canada, Japan & Europe relentlessly since 2008. 

The Deer Tracks display their signature schizophrenia as best on their latest record trilogy: The Archer Trilogy (PT.1, 2 & 3) 

Their songs often stride fearlessly into the forest primeval armed with their "Northern Light Electronica" that is best described as a complexed mixure of stuttering beats and rattling arsenal of percussion over a steady beat, likely accompanied by beautiful string arrangements, soaring synths and Elin's ethereal voice to top it off.  Somehow they blend them all together with other natural found sounds and deliberately lo-fi digital artifacts that adds bristles and grit to their relentless melodies.
