Groove Warrior is something we're really proud of and very indicative of the music we're working on currently and where we want to go. The melody initial melody was inspired by a Navajo War Chant - we listened to traditional singers perform it - figured out the chords, etc - then expanded on and modernized the concept this ancient song.

Recorded in northern New Mexico - not far form Narbona pass - DAT was moved by the history and the landscape of Nabona pass and the trials the Navajo people have undertaken.

Narbona as a song envoke some of the history while channeling DAT's unique musical perspective.

New York Navajo was a journey Delbert took in mind - a young Navajo boy is walking through the streets of New York and runs into a Jazz band playing. He then shares his music with the band and by the end - the two worlds have come together.
