I Need To Stay is a song I wrote shortly after finding out about the mental health struggles someone very close to me had been going through. I had to go to university for my exams, but I felt like I needed to stay. One evening I sat down with just myself and my laptop in my small dorm room, and I decided to put all my feelings and emotions into a song. Once finished, I sent it to my neighbour Emily, before we met up and recorded the final vocals for the song. Since then this has been a song of strength for me. A reminder of the strength and drive that person had to power through their feelings and emotions to still be here today. That same very person was the one that made the artwork for this song. I hope you enjoy it! :D

i kinda changed my mind and nowadays just do what i want to do every day, so no specific styles i do/won't do. Stay tuned for the future!

okay so here we go

over the past few months ive been really stuck with music. i dont know what i want to do, what style i want to evolve in etc. i explored some new genres i havent tried before, made some new styles, talked to new people, and listened to a lot more diverse music than i have before.
i came to the decision that i dont want to be a future bounce producer anymore and probably not even edm, since i found a lot of fun making beats and being a hip hop producer because of the diversity it has, being able to collaborate a lot more with people, not having to spend 40 hours on a single track, etc. moreover i honestly see a far bigger future for me in this industry compared to the dying niche scene we are in here

therefore i am announcing that i will evolve into this direction instead and wont start any new tracks, collabs in edm genres for an indefinite amount of time, we might release some ids that have been in the works but thats it.

thanks to everyone for sticking helping and supporting my path for years, its time to move on now but i wont be gone! just making different music than before. i will still stay in contact with the friends i made along the way, love yall

THEDETSTRIKE is an Indonesian producer who started with melodic house/progressive house, and he is moving into a new direction of genre, future bounce. He also experimenting on other genres, like future bass, deep house, pop, etc. His passion into music doesn't stop him to keep on making tracks that he loves.

Started in 2014, with only a basic piano knowledge he had from a private lesson back in 2006, he self-taught himself about the DAW, experimented with his laptop, listened to many music to find inspiration and ideas, and started making some basic beats. His persistence in learning, and passion in music makes him what he is right now. He already supported by the big names on the industry, like OurPsych, Blaze U, Ellis, RudeLies, and many more.
