This is a proof-of-concept song, although I wanted to share it anyway. I happened to stumble upon the mood of 2000s movies where the piano was king.

Y2k Classic

This isn't the last time you'll hear this theme, but this is a great first impression if I do say so myself. I wanted to build a swelling version of the theme along with an accompanying synthesizer arpeggio that laid the pace of the song.

I imagine this is the sequel to "Ready for Launch"^1 where the sci-fi crew is in Earth's orbit, and is preparing to warp and begin their journey far, far away.
