Just some of the pad potential of the DSI/Sequential Prophet 6. No external FX are used, only the internal FX of the P6 - and not all patches use the internal FX. The P6 was recorded MONO into Logic. Why not stereo? Because its too easy to make a synth sound big n stereo, and I usually record instruments in mono anyways. File was converted to 320 mp3.

This is a compilation of parts from recordings I made when creating patches for the OB6 synthesizer. I recorded much more, but edited down to the the best bits. There are no additional effects or processing. All effects are from the synth itself.

DISCLAIMER: There is no particular musicianship in these demos. They were recorded whilst patching mostly with one hand on the keyboard and the other hand tweaking knobs. The purpose of uploading is to give an idea of the tone, sound and character of the OB6 as explored by one sound designer.
