Day 6 of 20: For the next 20 days I will release a mixtape a day from my archive. These will be mixtapes I have made through out my dj career that spans about 20 years (so far).
Dub & Reggae has always had a special place in my heart, it started when I was very young and my mother gave me a cassette with some Reggae she had recorded from a radio station when she was on vacation on Grenada. All the music I play have some connection to Dub, but this is one of the few Dub mixtapes I ever made. #20years20mixtapes

Day 7 of 20: For the next 20 days I will release a mixtape a day from my archive. These will be mixtapes I have made through out my dj career that spans about 20 years (so far).
So this is a pretty unusual mixtape for me, I have not played many Goatrance sets but when I have this is what I played. Most of the music is from around 2000 so its not really proper Goatrance but still has some of the remnants of that sound blended with some of the more Progressive psychedelic trance of that era. This was made during the new years eve between 2013 and 2014 when I was home with a fever.

This is one of my favorite mixtapes actually, I was big into the whole Progressive house thing in the mid 2000-2010 and this mixtape reflects that completely, so many good ones. Also strictly mixed on Vinyl as all good Progressive house was released on Vinyl only, enjoy.

Day 8 of 20: For the next 20 days I will release a mixtape a day from my archive. These will be mixtapes I have made through out my dj career that spans about 20 years (so far).
So this is a mixtape that consists of music that me and my partner in crime Alter Nature used to play which is Offbeat Progressive Psychedelic trance and some Minimal Italian Techno that shares some of the sound that the Offbeat stuff does. I did this a couple of years after we played this kind of music to remember some of our crazy gigs :)

This mix has very much the Scandinavian Progressive Psychedelic Trance sound, and many of the artists are Swedish in fact. Its a sound that is very unique to Sweden and something I enjoy the most playing because of the tracks take there time and sort of float and just sort of chugging along, perfect for the trance dance experience :)

This mix was done on a Sunday morning when the sun was rising into my apartment and is a blend of slow Ambient dub and TripHop'ish beats and droning soundscapes.

This is a classic Ambient Dub mixtape from me, and actually the second mixtape I ever released. Full of Shponglish Ambient Dub as well as proper Dub & Reggae.  All in a smokey, hasey kinda vibe.

This was my first ever Goa mixtape I recorded, but of course its a newer style of Goa, more Acidy, percussive and minimalistic in its sound and not with so many bombastic melodies. But that is the sound that I really like :)

So this is a weird one, its a slow deeep psybient/trippy house/progressive psytrance mixtape that I knew exactly what tracks would go in it as soon as I heard the first track (in this mix) by Saafi brothers. The idea came from experimenting with a bunch of "b-sides" on vinyl, which are the majority of the tracks in this.

One of 2 more "full on" Psychedelic trance mixtapes, contains some unreleased stuff as well as remixes of classic psytrance tracks, i did it extremely improvised since I have a pretty big music collection and I always want to explore in mixing music I usually do not play.

Closing in on the end now :O. This is another vinyl only B-sides mixtape but this time with the purpose of going as far as I could from what I was playing back then, hence the title. But it still has some of the Chaman stank on it, no matter what I play I am going to play it my way, my style :)

The last one is here, and its pretty fitting that the last one is the first one. This is the first mixtape I recorded and its full of tracks that I used to play at the famous Dj café SVAJ in Stockholm, droning Ambient dub and hypnotic soundscapes.
So yeah, 20 years moves by fast, so much has happend during that time, so many parties, clubs. So many experiences, and the music always takes me back to where I was at that time.
