This set was a bit challenging as I was playing & opening for two ATL Icons, DJ Jelly & DJ Mars. I want to keep the ATL Sound as it was the launch of the 404 kit. The kit was inspired by ATL's 90's movement and Outkast ATLIENS Album. So how do you play ATL hip-hop with out burning 2 of ATL's Legendary DJ. You dig for indie dance remixes of ATL song's. On April 17'th Rapeton.com hosted a beat battle via Instagram between two of the top Reggaeton Producers, Tainy vs Luny, New School vs Old School. I saw the opportunity and (some friends wanted the mix) to compile all the songs they featured & more, and mixed them together. 3 hours + later you have the mixtape. The songs are not in the same order the battle took place. I put it in what I thought a "DJ Set" would sound like with all discography featured.
