Recorded at Motherdisco at 3 Dollar Bill in Brooklyn on Memorial Day Weekend.  Some of these records in this set were specifically chosen because they are the very same songs I used to hear at block parties and blasting from the Monte Carlos during my earliest years in Brooklyn.  They are indelibly etched in my consciousness forever as "Brooklyn records".  Being this is a classics party set in Brooklyn, I thought it appropriate to include some of those songs in this set.  Songs like "All Night Passion" and "Walking on Sunshine" will forever remind me of those Brooklyn summers in the 1980's.

James Anthony is a DJ's DJ.  Old school to his core, James Anthony rocks rooms all over the world with his signature big room disco-tech tribal sound.  A true dance music enthusiast, James' sound is directly influenced from his upbringing listening to disco, freestyle and house music on the radio in New York in the 80's and 90's.  Those influences, paired with his high octane, vocal heavy peak hour energy, create a sensational dancefloor experience that leaves crowds breathless.

James is also the host and producer of Get Into The Groove, a weekly mixshow on SiriusXM Studio 54 that features the best dance records of the 1980's directly from James' extensive vinyl collection of classics.
