For the last few days all I've listened to is 94 happy / jungle sets on soundcloud, when the scene split in late 93 / early 94 a lot of DJs like Slipmat, Ellis Dee, Swanee and Grooverider would mix up the jungle with the pianos, there was something special from that era when it was gorgeous breakbeats and warm bass...I love it! I decided to jump on the turntables and record some of my faves.

The legendary club Quest in Wolverhampton was rated as the best club for hardcore old skool rave from late 91-93 with a who's who of guest DJs including Carl Cox, Phantasy, Ratty, Sy, Stu Allan, Loftgroover, Dave Angel, Slipmatt, Fabio, Tango, Pilgrim, Ned Ryder and loads more. After hammering the tapes from 92/93 during lockdown I thought it was only right to put up a tribute to late 92 / early 93 tunes played at Quest during 93 where the darkness was seeping through the jungle...
