My extensive look at where jump up music came from, starting in 1994/1995 with the pioneers like DJ SS, Zinc, DJ Rap etc, moving through the years from Zen and Twisted Individual to Hazard and Clipz, Original Sin and Taxman and hopefully into the 2010's DJ Guv, Majistrate and more.

After 18 months I finally got round to mixing volume 5 of my Jump Up Chronicles mix, covering the amazing 2005 - 2006 era! 

By 2005 Hazard had cemented himself as the hottest D&B producer around and artists like Clipz, TC, Simon Bassline Smith & Drumsound and many more were firing out jump up material played by everyone from Pendulum to Bryan Gee to Andy C to Nicky Blackmarket to Bailey. Much to the disgust of the purists, jump up was going nowhere.
