Please be safe on the road. A person dies less than every 30 seconds on our roadways. This man was a inspiring DJ but a nightmare driver. Passenger was ejected and died in Colorado and two years later he and another driver died in Texas. Three lives gone, due to intoxicants and speed. Please be safe, we all want to get where we are going safe. With all the love of an orchestra, I want us all to be happy and free from harm. Chin up, eyes on the horizon and try to smile :)

The Do LaB presents Pumpkin at Woogie Weekend 2015

This song collection came completely unexpected to me over the last two days, from a place of pure flow. I watched a few videos of a very special human, music producer, DJ and friend, the late and oh so great Pumpkin. He talked about playing "that pretty shit" to make the beautiful people smile. I read a quote from him about taking risks with DJ sets, and I know from our chats that he's all about coming from the heart. It is completely out of my comfort zone to share this with you, I really don't know how to mix so many diverse songs, I found myself thinking that the transitions should be smooth as butter before posting this, I judged myself for not being good enough to do anything to honour such an amazing man of music- but then I was reminded of his words, and I decided that I don’t want to wait to share this pretty shit with you. Most of Pumpkin’s produced tracks are in here, woven with other songs that just remind me of my friend, make my heart smile, and my booty wanna sway. I love you. I hope you enjoy.

This was the last show we performed and are honored to share this at a time of global uncertainty and a crises where music feels more important than ever before. Pumpkin’s acclaimed debut EP, “Love Letters,” featured collaborations with singer Katie Mowgli of the breakout band, The Mowglis and lyricist, EVeryman along with his sought after remixes from the likes of Florence + The Machine and Lila Rose.

He’s been part of the esteemed Pocket Underground family since 2006, when after playing in rock bands all his life, he found a new passion in the hypnotic rhythms of deep house music.
