Baby Names

so i got a little weird and wanted to convey what it feels like in my head and body to be angry. ellaborated on "i am angry." patched together 3 different sections to walk listeners through different stages of emotions while in a fit of rage.  
inspired by beirut and my old band cirkestra, lin-manuel miranda, the score from coraline, the beatles, birds and bird calls (this old bird call identification record from the 50's has gotten us through this pandemic), and a book i'm reading inspired a lot of the sections (see if you can guess which famous literary/film character i'm talking about in the second flutey section).

SECTION 1:
i don't remember drinking tonic, but i must've
cuz i thought i was a jekyll but i'm feeling like a hyde
i know it sounds a little crazy

i feel it sorta bubbling and boiling inside

clear as a crystal
sharp as a pistol
stinging and floating 
and zinging and gloating
in unison
and if you listen to the sound of
(shhh...silent)
you can hear it on the first time

she wouldn't wake up

all it takes is a little bit of broken eyes

the needle dropped

so far from the sun

i heard it was joyful in its tone
but i picked apart the feathers
and i never scratched the bone
