A very rare song from the 1990th repertoire of the singer known as NICHLAVA, found by our label in a private collection and slightly remastered by zefra records in 2024.

NICHLAVA (born Andrij Pidlużnyj) is one of the most romantic and beautiful melodists to appear on the Ukrainian stage since 1991!

Unfortunately, he is also one of the most underrated musicians of our time in Ukraine.

Therefore, our label ZEFRA records try to bring out of oblivion a magical treasure from Nichlava's creative vaults.

LIRWAK to oczytani batiary, których zainspirował romantyzm wędrownych śpiewaków i lirników z początku XX wieku. Chłopaki tworzą własne brzmienie, wplatając dźwięki ludowych instrumentów i teksty znalezionych piosenek w muzykę elektroniczną. Odważnie łączą break-beat z Huculskimi dudami, a lirę korbową i trembitę z dubstepem.

LIRWAK został założony w 2017 roku przez byłych członków znanego europejskiego zespołu folk-rockowego Joryj Kłoc: Gordija Starucha i Olesia Kowala. Następnie dołączył do nich Andrij Petruk, aktor Lwowskiego teatru w im. Lesia Kurbasa.

Później Gordij Staruch opuścił watahę, woląc pracować samodzielnie. Na jego miejsce podpisano więc innego starożytnego członka Jorego Kłoca, który w rzeczywistości wraz z Olesiem i Gordijem założył tę zespół - artysta ten jest lepiej znany we Lwowskich kręgach artystycznych jako „Джін” - co można przetłumaczyć jako Dżinn z bajki Arabskiej, albo Gin, jaki do picia :)) 

Każdy z członków Lirwak ma doświadczenie z więcej niż jednym instrumentem. Chłopaki wciąż eksperymentują z autentyczną muzyką, która jest rdzeniem zespołu, ale szukają też nowych podejść do interakcji z nią.

LIRWAK • Лірвак – то вельми начитані батяри, шо сї надихнули романтикоу мандрівних спївцїв-гудцїв почєтку 20-го століття. Хлопаки створуют власне бринінє, вплітаючи в електронну гудьбу звуки народних гудил та лірику з віднайдених спїванок. Вони сміло лїплят до купи брейкбіт з гуцульскими дудами, а колїсну лїру з трембітами змішуют з дабстепом.

LIRWAK заложили в 2017 роцї колишні учєсники відомої в Еуропі фольк-рокової ватаги Joryj Kłoc:  Гордій Старух та Олесь Коваль. Потому до них сї доїднав актор Львївского театру іменї Леся Курбаса — Андрій Петрук (Andrii Petruk).

Пізніше Гордій Старух відійшов від гурту, віддавши перевагу самостійній діяльности. Тож на їго місце було підписано ше їдного старого Joryj-Kłoc-івця, їкий, власне, разом з Олесем та Гордієм і заложив тотой гурт — сего митця в Львівських в мистецьких колах більше відають єк “Джин” :))

Кажди з музИк Лірвака володіє досвїдом і не їдним гудилом! Фацети не припинєют експериментувати з аутентичноу музикоу, їка є стрижнем гурту, проте шукают нових підходів до взаємодії з ню.

The LIRWAK band's only music video has already been released on 1 March 2020. It's a shame for such a good thing can be lost somewhere in the depths of the internet. Well, our humble label ZEFRA RECORDS has refreshed the image a bit and made the sound of the track more lucid - so that it does not go!

LIRWAK are well-read "bastards" who were inspired by the romance of the travelling singers and minstrels of the early 20th century. The guys create their own sound by weaving the sounds of folk instruments and lyrics from found songs into electronic music. They boldly mix break-beat with Gutsul doodas, and wheeled lyre (hurdy-gurdy) and trembitas with dubstep.

LIRWAK was founded in 2017 by the former members of the well-known European folk-rock band Joryj Kłoc:  Gordiy Starukh and Oleś Kowal. Then they were joined by Andrij Petruk, an actor from the Les Kurbas Lviv Theatre.

Later on, Gordiy Starukh left the group, preferring to work independently. So, another old Joryj-Kłoc man was signed to replace him, who, in fact, together with Oleś and Gordiy, founded the band - this artist is better known in Lviv art circles as "Джін" - which can be tranlsted in English both Genie either Gin :))

Each of Lirwak's members has experience with more than one instrument. The guys keep experimenting with authentic music, which is the core of the band, but they are also looking for new approaches to interacting with it.

   Молодий український етно-рок колектив The Doox своєю музикою прагне відродити та популяризувати справжній український колорит. Гурт the Dоох - це суміш сопілок, волинок, електроніки, гітари, українських пісень та чаруючого жіночого голосу. 
   Музиканти об’єдналися весною 2014 року на чолі з відомим мультиінструменталістом та сопілкарем Максимом Бережнюком. За час існування встигли побувати на відомих українських фестивалях та записати демо-альбом, який презентували у листопаді 2014 року.
   Пісня The Doox "Полюбила" стала супроводом у фільмі "Заради миру", що вийшов у вересні 2014 в рамках конкурсу короткометражок від 1+1 media.

   The Doox - is ukrainian band, creates music in the folk-rock, world music styles, combining the ancient ukrainian folklore with modern electronic and rock-style tunes. Their repertoire comprises the songs from ethnological field trips and the records of traditional music from the Volyn, Rivne, Kyiv, and Poltava regions. The musicians try to combine ethnic sounds and melodies from all over the world, playing a variety of wind instruments of Ukraine and abroad. 
   The highlight of the band's music is a fusion of male and female voices in the traditional manner of singing. The band’s live outdoors performances cause a real sensation and get across the footlight.
   Band The Doox was formed in spring of 2014, and led by Maksym Berezhnuik, the renowned multi-instrumentalist and piper. The musicians participated in a number of popular Ukrainian festivals and recorded a demo album, which was presented in November 2014.
   The band’s song "Poliubyla" (Fallen in Love) became a soundtrack for the movie "Zarady Myru" (For Peace), released in September 2014 within the competition of short films by 1+1 media.
