Straight out of the Nightmares Vol 1 compilation previously released on The Dreamers, AM:X delivers a solo EP for the Italian label. Rectine EP is made of 6 crispy sounding dark rollers carefully programmed by one of the most interesting names in the Italian drum and bass scene. “Rectine” sets the mood for the ep with a dancefloor oriented track with minimalistic sounds, “Veth” goes heavier with its dark sounds and drums, “Monsters” is characterised by its big sub bass, “Foggy Place” has carefully crafted razor breaks, “Dreaming” is a warehouse killer and “Pulse” will make the dancefloor move.

AM:X BIO:
Amilcare Meneghello aka Am:x began his musical career very early playing (in bands) as a drummer. At the age of 16 years he discovered his passion for electronic music, particularly warp's things and drum and bass, and began to produce tracks and play out in the Italian underground scene. Moving house to Bologna in 2004 witnessed massive changes for Am:x's production skills and has also quickly become a prominent figure in DJing. In 2007 Am:x begun to promote his own d'n'b nights and his production start to be appreciated by a large part of dnb scene. His sound ranges from techy-neurofunk to deep-minimal and soul with groove-centric base.
