First, the history: Citizen Fish formed in Bath, UK in 1989 following the splits of Subhumans and Culture Shock. They have been delivering their unique ska-infused punk rock to eager audiences while touring across the world the past two decades. Dick Lucas' frantic vocal delivery combined with the catchy riffs and driving punk of their unforgettable live performances continues to earn CF legions of new fans and brings working class radical politics to generations of questioning minds. These guys truly are the masters of mixing punk with ska, and they top that off with sharply observed politically charged lyrics that don't preach, but encourage you to question, and to think!

Citizen Fish - Overseas

The Christian rock scene is replete with slick, careerist bands whose lyrics gingerly tread on the ecumenical outskirts of religious allusions in an attempt to alienate as few mainstream rock consumers as possible. Itʼs no wonder that the Knights of the New Crusade, with their resolute unconcern for compromise (Matthew 16:26), became a flashpoint for contention in both the Christian and secular rock music worlds.

Their first album, 2004's My God Is Alive! Sorry About Yours! combined gut level garage punk music and unrepentantly Christian lyrics in a way that made Christian rock relevant in a way it had never been before. The Pharisees of the Christian rock establishment were quick to make their disapproval known, and the Knights of the New Crusade answered with their Kierkegaardean opus Knight Beat: A Challenge to the Cowards of Christendom, a rallying cry for true disciples of Christ who were tired of the hypocritical Christianity prevalent in our society.

Now, the Knights of the New Crusade and Alternative Tentacles bring you Knight Vision: Hymns for the Invisible Church, a rich and deep tapestry displaying their spiritual, intellectual, and musical development. An Eastern mysticism may be identified amidst the solid garage rock foundations, but do not let such elements obfuscate the nature of Knightsʼ dedication to Christendom.

The Knights of the New Crusade - Harrowing Of Hell

For over 20 years, Louisiana Music Hall of Famer Bill "Diamond" Davis has made his band Dash Rip Rock Louisiana's edgiest cultural export. Recorded at the infamous Studio in the Country, "Black Liquor" effortlessly melds rock, swamp, garage, and punk influences into one blistering guitar album with a haunting and quirky indie country ballad and pop voodoo paean rounding it out. This album brings classic Dash back home with it's straightforward songwriting, authentic roots, and raw talent honed by years of touring - the future of Southern Rock here today.

"I played the best guitar of my life on this album. That includes all live and studio performances ever. The reasons are obvious: it was the history and vibe of the room, the amazing vintage equipment, and working with a producer that knows my capabilities. We had a lot of fun recording out at Studio in the Country. We doubled tracked the drums then got crazy and triple tracked them. The entire band is at the top of their game from frequent touring. And this is the longest I've ever spent writing and recording a record. I also pulled a few never-recorded gems out of the Dash demo vault for this one."

The Dreamkillers is a raw and fast, larrikin punk/metal band from Brisbane with socially-aware lyrics and a history stretching back to a combination of members from Insane Hombres and a band called the Mystery of Sixes that featured Jobson and was famous as the only Australian act ever to be signed to the Alternative Tentacles label.

While the Dreamkillers sound lurched closer to hardcore than to metal the band nonetheless gained a sizeable following among the metal crowd, particularly in their home state although forays across the border always proved successful.

The Dreamkillers' music was often aggressive, often humourous and live shows were energetic with displays of full frontal nudity from Jobson a common feature. The band formed in 1991 with Paul McCullum on drums, Terry McDougall playing bass and Sid Roberts as second guitarist along with Jobson and Witcher and recorded a brace of scorching EPs. They supported the likes of Body Count and Sepultura before undergoing numerous line-up changes which saw Beasley and Smith enter the picture.

The Dreamkillers had all but officially disbanded when they were picked up by Roadrunner Records, then recovened as a four piece for the Character Building Hell Trip album, only to split for good shortly afterward. Poison Carnival is a re-release of the first two EPs.

In 2006, Jobson reformed the band with members of Brisbane punk band Psychotic Lemmings and under the name Jobson's Dreamkillers made a one-off appearance at the annual 4ZZZ Market Day. Reaction was so strong that guitarist Ross Cobb was recruited and the Dreamkillers has subsequently continued. 

Scratching at the Windows is a compilation of older songs and The Dark Years was a one-take studio recording of new tracks. A new EP emerged in mid-2010 featuring Antz Palmer (Post Life Disorder) although he has since left.

Les has since reclaimed his artistic ownership of the Dreamkillers back catalogue and has released the aptly titled "I'm Not Fuck'n Sorry" which is available through the current Dreamkillers management - Broken Tree http://wearebrokentree.com/store/music 

2012 has seen massive changes to the band and 2013 sees Jobson take control of the wheel giving Dreamkillers fans exactly what their after, new music and more live shows around Australia.
