THE BLACKEST BLUE (updated)

First release of the droplets pulled together and sent out to the world in honor of the tragic passing of one the band's two members, the musically brilliant and all-around super human being, Gordon Ranney. Gordon sang, played bass and guitar; Tom Hanson wrote songs and played guitar and drums.

The Droplets was a collaboration between myself, Tom Hanson (songs, guitars, drums) and my good friend, Gordon Ranney (guitars, bass, vocals). In 2016, we released our first, self-titled album. Tragically, Gordon passed from lung cancer the same year.  This left behind lots of unfinished songs and outtakes.  We had however landed on a batch of newer tunes that comprised a second release, and agreed that I would work with a mutual friend from New Zealand, John White to try to finish vocals on them.  This is one.
