A panel series held by the drum's program (In)Visible, a program for young QTPoC (queer, trans People of Colour) run by young QTPoC.  Taking Up Space aims to pass the mic to community voices to talk about issues that affect them.  This panel covers the body, specifically fatness and their intersections. Taking Up Space: The Body.  Talking Fatness and Intersectionality

The Drum provides youth services in The City of Melbourne (Carlton, North Melbourne, Kensington)and City of Yarra (Collingwood and Richmond) for young people who live on the Public Housing Estates, as well as delivering programs in the CBD for young QTPOC (queer, trans people of colour) and LGBTQI+ international students.

The Drum is situated within drummond street services, a leading community and family mental health and wellbeing service provider. 

Our work seeks to be; inclusive, supportive and to provide safe and affirmative spaces for young people to connect. We collaborate with young people to design and deliver opportunities that enable them to connect with one another, their families and the wider community.
